Works of Love, Inc. is a non-profit, charitable corporation that holds IRS 501 (c) (3) tax exempt status. Works of Love exists to address and provide relief for individuals afflicted by hopelessness, despair, poverty, oppression, exploitation, and injustice. This organization seeks to be an advocate for the poor, destitute and oppressed in practical and tangible ways through the provision of basic fundamental needs such as food, clothing, transitory shelter and relational loving kindness, comfort, friendship and hope.

The activities of Works of Love, Inc. are intentionally structured in accordance with the life and teachings of Jesus, by way of offering spiritual life and hope, by feeding the poor, clothing the naked, sheltering the homeless, and reaching out to those in distress. It is our purpose to participate in acts of loving-kindness and charity, or ‘works of love’, out of our love for God and our love for humanity.

Works of Love, Inc. exists as a ‘vehicle’ to bring relief directly to those individuals most in need. Works of Love, Inc. does not ‘solicit’ for funds, choosing instead to trust in God to provide for the services done on His behalf. Works of Love’s Board members, Officers, or associates (field workers) DO NOT receive payment of any kind for their services. Field workers live and serve by faith and are not offered financial assistance until they have exhausted their own personal financial means. Works of Love, Inc. does not provide any common benefits to field workers such as health insurance, 401Ks, etc. Our field workers have chosen to live by faith in the Living God, not by faith in a ‘man-made’ institution. Furthermore, Works of Love, Inc. does NOT take a percentage of each donation to cover for its administrative costs. These costs, including this web-site are paid for by our own personal resources.

It is our desire to love God through love for our neighbor, wherever we find ourselves.

Welcome to Works of Love

“He who sees his brother in need, yet shuts his heart, -- yes at the same time he shuts out God. Love to God and love to neighbor are like two doors that open simultaneously. It is impossible to open one without opening the other, and impossible to shut the one without shutting the other.”

Soren A. Kierkegaard
